Eco Events in South Florida: May 2026

It’s heating up in South Florida, but that’s not stopping the event schedule!Us Floridians know, while it may be hot, it’s the coolest it’s going to be for a while. So this is the time to go to the events!

I challenge you to attend at least one event this month and report back.

Let me know which one, how it was, and what your reflection is on it. Did you enjoy yourself? Did you learn anything? Did you meet anyone?

Events are so much fun because you get to do activities you don’t usually get to!

This month, for instance, there are a lot of kayak tours or cleanups taking place across the tri-county area.

Remember to always bring your reusable water bottle to events, wear sunscreen, use a hat and sunglasses, and overall just make sure you’re prepared for the elements before you head out for an event.

Have fun and let me know what event you ended up going to by commenting here or on Instagram!
