Eco Events in South Florida: September 2026
One whole year of Eco Events posts!
Last summer, I was going to many local events related to the environment and nature, and there were so many more I couldn’t attend.
Yet I would sometimes meet people at the event, or even see others commenting on my stories or posts, saying, “I wish South Florida had more events like that.”
To which, I would always say, “But we do!”
Then quickly realized how disconnected all these events are, even if so many exist.
South Florida covers a huge area, spanning three counties: Palm Beach County, Broward County, and Miami-Dade County.
Personally, I attend events in all three counties, so I wanted to bring us more together and show everyone just how many eco events there are down here.
So last September, I started aggregating local eco-focused events, and I’m so glad I did.
I’ve connected with so many people and organizations, learned about super interesting events, and received so much appreciation for making these posts.
Thank you for every share, every repost, every comment, and especially everyone who visits the blog posts and actually attends the events!
Really, I’m just so proud of all the people and organizations in South Florida doing great work to help our neighbors and the environment we call home.
This is just one small way to help build community, and I’m so grateful to be able to contribute!
